Welcome to Mainely Innovations​

We are dedicated to providing solutions that extend the capabilities of the AVEVA / OSIsoft PI ecosystem. Our goal is to enable open-source development of PI Vision custom symbols and scripts to help automate common and even less routine tasks required for the administration of the PI system.

We believe that there is a lot of flexibility in extending the base layer of the PI System and that providing common functionality to consumers of PI is valuable. That's why we want to make these common tasks and basic PI Vision extensibility open-source, as there is minimal value in paying for these services and the functionality should be usable by the consumers of the PI System.

To ensure reliability and consistency, we use infrastructure as code and DevOps best practices. We utilize tools and techniques such as continuous integration, continuous delivery, and configuration management with Ansible to automate the build, test, and deployment process. We also build custom Ansible modules to manage the OSIsoft PI System and ensure consistency in the configuration of the system. Our team has experience in using Cloud providers such as AWS & Azure, including deployments of the OSIsoft PI System in the cloud, we can assist with the migration of on-premise systems to the cloud, as well as the design, implementation, and management of cloud-based solutions.
