Enhancing Time Series Data Viewing with the Timeseries Value Symbol

In data visualization, there's often a necessity to inspect timeseries data in a textual format rather than solely relying on visual trends. This is where the Timeseries Value symbol comes into play, offering a versatile solution for such use-cases. Archived values for a point or attribute can be displayed in ascending or descending order, offering flexibility in how your see the data. Sorting options are conveniently accessible through a click on the sort icon adjacent to the Timestamp header. Moreover, the symbol allows for the customization of the displayed data items, offering control over the number of results shown.

Welcome to Mainely Innovations

We are dedicated to providing solutions that extend the capabilities of the AVEVA / OSIsoft PI ecosystem. Our goal is to enable open-source development of PI Vision custom symbols and scripts to help automate common and even less routine tasks required for the administration of the PI system.

We believe that there is a lot of flexibility in extending the base layer of the PI System and that providing common functionality to consumers of PI is valuable. That's why we want to make these common tasks and basic PI Vision extensibility open-source, as there is minimal value in paying for these services and the functionality should be usable by the consumers of the PI System.
